KOCHI: More complaints registered against Kalamassery medical college. The latest one was from the relatives of Aluva native, Radahamani who died in the medical college while undergoing treatment. Her daughter filed a complaint before the city police commissioner citing that her mother’s ornaments were lost while undergoing treatment at the medical college.

Radhamani’s relatives allege that even though they had filed complained to the hospital superintendent, no action was taken by the hospital authorities. Now the family demands a thorough probe on Radhamani’s death and on losing her ornaments.

Radhamani was hospitalised in Kalamassery medical college following high fever and cough on July 20th. On the subsequent tests, it was confirmed that she’s doesn’t have the pandemic. But after two days her condition became critical. Relatives said that by the time they had arranged an ambulance to shift Radhamani to another hospital for better treatment, she passed away. They also said that hospital authorities asked them to conduct the cremation as per covid 19 protocol, even though Radhamani was tested negative in covid 19 tests.
