NEW DELHI: Poet and critic K Sachidanandan has said that Kerala is creating unnecessary panic among the public in the name of COVID-19. Taking it to Facebook, the poet also said that the state needs to learn a lot from Delhi regarding COVID prevention activities.
'There is a difference between the approach in dealing with COVID prevention in Delhi and Kerala. I don't know whether it is because of the government's approach or the people's approach. There seems to be calmness in Delhi. Even if the disease exists, people are not panicked by the situation. In Delhi, people wear masks and follow social distancing norms. They do not leave their homes unnecessarily and take proper precautions while leaving homes for urgent purposes,' his post read.
