THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6843 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 5694 persons developed the disease through contact including 908 cases without an identified source of infection. 82 health workers tested positive for the virus today.
Meanwhile, 7649 patients tested negative for the virus on Sunday.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Sunday with the toll rising to 1332.
