THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister KK Shailaja on Sunday said that the hospital, constructed free of cost by the Tata Group as part of COVID resistance activities in Kasargod, will be operational from October 28.

As a first step towards the smooth functioning of the hospital, 191 new posts were recently created in the medical, paramedical and administrative departments. Their recruitment process is underway. Although it will operate as a COVID hospital in the present, the hospital will be converted into a normal hospital when COVID comes under control.
