THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Election Commission announced that local body polls will be completed before December 31. The commission further clarified that administrative rule will come into effect in local self-governing institutions after November 11. A notice was forwarded to the government regarding this. The commission also intimated the chief secretary and district collectors. The election dates will be announced later.
