THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Patients can now buy medicines free of cost from the nearby government hospitals through the prescription received on the Esanjeevani telemedicine system. This is as part of expanding Esanjeevani that was started to give hospital services at home during this COVID time, health minister KK Shailaja said. Lab tests can also be done with Esanjeevani prescription. The patient should avail the services on the very day of receiving the prescription. Over 400 people are making use of this facility in the state on a daily basis.

General medicine OP is from 8 am to 8 pm on all days. Pediatric OP is from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Psychiatry OP is from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 1 pm.

The services of institutes like the Indian Institute of Diabetics Thiruvananthapuram, Imhans Kozhikode, and RCC Thiruvananthapuram. Cochin Cancer Centre are available through Esanjeevani.
