THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Seven new hotspots were declared in the state on Sunday. Vandazhi (containment zone ward 10) and Piraiyir (21) in Palakkad, Vettikavala (3), and Panayam (6,7,8) in Kollam, Erumeli (12) and TV Puram (6,13) in Kottayam, and Adimali (sub ward 18,19,21) in Idukki are the new hotspots.

22 hotspots were removed from the list of hotspots. Currently, there are 671 hotspots in the state.

Kerala confirmed 7025 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. 28 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
