THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The executive meeting of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) will soon discuss the issue of Bineesh Kodiyeri who was arrested in connection with the Bengaluru drug case. It was AMMA general secretary Edavela Babu who informed this to the media. Babu informed that the date of the meeting will be decided considering the convenience of AMMA president Mohanlal.
Bineesh is a member of AMMA who has acted in movies such as 'Five Fingers', 'Balram vs Tharadas', 'Lion', 'Kurukshetra', 'Neerali' and 'Oppam'. He is also a regular player in AMMA's cricket team, Kerala Strikers, that took part in the Celebrity Cricket League. Therefore, there are indications that the Bineesh issue will be discussed in the executive.
It is learnt that Bineesh might be suspended from the association. As per the revised code of AMMA, the executive committee has the power to suspend a member and the general body has the power to expel a member from the association.
