THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Enforcement Directorate has extended its probe into four major IT-linked projects following information that Sivasankar and his gang carried out Rs 110 crore in bribery under the guise of government projects. These were the projects initiated by Sivasankar when he was the head of the IT Department.

Major projects such as K Phone, E-mobility, Smart City and Downtown are under the scanner of the central agency. ED has directed the chief secretary to submit the Memorandum of Understanding of the projects and details of the land acquired for it. Earlier, it had demanded documents of the Life Mission project which was led by Sivasankar.

ED had recovered information regarding the bribery in connection with the four projects from Sapna's phones and laptops. The role of Principal Secretary KR Jyotilal and Rishikesh Nair, who was the CEO of government IT parks, is also being investigated. Kerala Kaumudi had reported that Shivshankar had planned to start an IT business with a dream in Dubai with the commission money.
