THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PM Velayudhan, one of the veteran BJP leaders has come up with an allegation that the BJP state president K Surendran betrayed him. In a channel debate, the leader said that Surendran sought his help before becoming the party's state chief but didn't keep his word thereafter.
Velayudhan said Surendran promised him that he and KP Sreeshan would be allowed to continue as vice presidents of the party if he becomes the president.
'I helped him on the basis of that promise, however, he didn't keep his word after becoming president', he said.
