THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on Monday said that the whereabouts of iPhones given by Swapna Suresh became clear, and CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should apologize for propagating fake claims about him.

'Kodiyeri's allegation didn't even have any distant relation with the truth. Kodiyeri's habit to harass political opponents by saying anything is not apt for a party's state leader', Chennithala said.

'Kodiyeri has lost his face for fake allegations. As he cannot contest politically, he attacks personally. The public saw his allegations falling down like a pack of cards. iPhone controversy is the latest example', he added.
