THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A vigilance probe has been ordered against Congress MLA PT Thomas. A preliminary investigation has been launched in connection with a land deal in Ernakulam Edappally. Ernakulam Range SP of Vigilance has been tasked to investigate and submit a report.

Vigilance had received complaints of black money transaction. Based on this, the Director of Vigilance submitted a letter to the government seeking permission for a preliminary investigation. The Speaker had also given permission for the inquiry.
