Sreejith Panickar paid his homage to P Biju, CPM leader and Kerala State Youth Welfare Board vice-chairman. He remembered Biju by comparing him with other Left Front leaders. Sreejith Panicker said other left front leaders should think why they don’t have the public acceptance gained by Biju. He also demanded the leaders to introspect on what made him different from them.

‘I don’t know comrade P Biju personally, but many have mentioned about him. Today the Facebook feed is filled with posts from many friends mourning his demise and sharing fond memories of him. Journalists, social activists and many from political fields mourned his death. Many commemorated his character, political life, his soft spoken attitude and his simplicity. None of this can be taken as a mere compliment as some are stingy in saying good things about others.

Other left leaders should examine one’s own thoughts or feelings. They should think why they don’t have the public acceptance gained by Biju. He also demanded the leaders to introspect on what made him different from them.’
