The hundredth film of actor Jayasurya has been named Sunny. He is uniting with director Ranjith Sankar after Njan Marykutty. The script penned by Sankar will have Jayasurya in the lead role. He plays a musician in the film. The film will be shot in Kochi and Dubai.

As Jayasury plays a musician in the film, it will have a strong presence of contemporary music. Sanker Sharma, who composed for films like Darvinte Parinamam and Avarude Raavukal, will be working on the music. Camera is by Madhu Neelakandan.

This will be Ranjith’s eighth film with Jayasurya. The two have previously worked in Punyalan Pvt Ltd, Punyalan Agarbathies, Su..Su.. Sudhivathmeekam, Pretham, Pretham-2, Ramante Edanthottam, and Njan Marykutty.
