THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6820 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed. 5135 persons developed the disease through contact including 730 cases without an identified source of infection. 60 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 7699 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of today, there are 84,087 active cases in the state.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Thursday with the toll rising to 1613.
