THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 7002 COVID-19 cases on Friday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. 6192 persons developed the disease through contact including 646 cases without an identified source of infection. 66 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 7854 patients tested negative for the virus today.
The state recorded 27 COVID deaths on Friday with the toll rising to 1640.
