BENGALURU: NCB makes crucial moves against Bineesh Kodiyeri who is currently under the custody of ED in connection with the drug trade case. NCB has filed a plea in the court seeking Bineesh’s custody as his custody term under ED ends on Saturday. The plea will be considered by the court on Monday.

ED has found out that Bineesh is also involved in the drug trade. NCB has earlier collected crucial details and other information on the case from ED officials. Bineesh will be presented before the Bengaluru sessions court by Saturday afternoon. Bineesh was shifted to hospital for a medical check-up prior to presenting before the court.

Meanwhile, ED might ask the court to extend Bineesh’s custody term. Bineesh’s advocates have told the court that the ED officials have mentally tortured Bineesh as the grilling extended late night on Friday. ED has questioned Bineesh for nine days and in two phases.
