THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 7201 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. 6316 persons developed the disease through contact including 728 cases without an identified source of infection. 61 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7120 patients tested negative for the virus today.

The state recorded 28 COVID deaths on Saturday with the toll rising to 1668.
