THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The custody of Bineesh Kodiyeri, arrested in the money laundering case, has been extended by four days by Bengaluru Civil and City Sessions Court. Bineesh will stay in custody till November 11.

The court's order was issued after ED submitted a plea to extend the custody. ED had earlier sought custody of Bineesh for 10 days. But, the granted custody was for 5 days. As the custody term is ending today, ED approached the court to extend it.

ED told the court that a debit card of Anoop Mohammad was found from Bineesh's house. On this card, there is a signature of Bineesh Kodiyeri. So ED asked the court for further custody of Bineesh Kodiyeri. ED also found that Bineesh has links with three companies that ended its operations. ED's advocates told the court that Bineesh's custody is necessary for more investigation in regard with this.
