HYDERABAD: Recent report claims that former MP and Telugu actor Vijayashanti will soon resign from Congress and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to the report, it was a senior Congress leader who hinted that Vijayashanti is planning to resign from the party and join BJP. It is learnt that Vijayashanti has already held discussions with some of the BJP leaders in Telangana.

In the last month, actor Khushboo, a former Congress spokesperson, had resigned from the party and joined the BJP.
