THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6010 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. Among this, 5188 persons developed the disease through contact including 653 cases without an identified source of infection. 69 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 6698 patients tested negative for the virus today.

The state recorded 28 COVID deaths on Tuesday with the toll rising to 1742.
