THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 5804 COVID-19 cases on Friday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. Among this, 4988 persons developed the disease through contact including 643 cases without an identified source of infection. 118 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 55 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 6201 patients tested negative for the virus today.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Friday with the toll rising to 1822.
