THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The prohibitory orders imposed in districts in wake of the transmission of COVID-19, will end today. The transmission of the disease in many districts is under control and so there very few chances to extend it in districts including Thiruvananthapuram.

District collectors will take a decision on whether to extend it in areas where the disease is severe. The fine for those violating COVID guidelines has been increased the other day. Anyone seen without a mask in public places will imposed a fine of Rs 500 from Rs 200. Those found spitting on roads will also be fined Rs 500 from 200.
