THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The test positivity rate stayed below 10% on Sunday at 9.93%. The current spread of disease is considerably less as 46,126 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. Of this, 4581 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed.
The state recorded 21 COVID deaths on Sunday with the toll rising to 1869.
On Sunday, the highest number of cases were recorded on Kozhikode-574.

There is a steady growth in the number of recoveries as 6684 tested negative for the virus in 24 hours. As of now, there are 74,802 active cases in the state. The total number of confirmed cases in Kerala stands at 4,48,207.
On Sunday, 3920 persons developed the disease through contact including 527 cases without an identified source of infection. 85 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 49 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours..
