KOCHI: Customs will interrogate former principal secretary of chief minister M Sivasankar on Monday. The questioning will be on gold smuggling on dollar transaction case. Earlier the court has given customs the nod to grill him from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on Monday.

The department has initiated proceedings to grill him in the wake of gold smuggling case chief accused Swapna Siresh’s testimony to ED that Sivasankar has helped her in all transactions including gold smuggling. The department is also gearing up to arrest him after taking his testimony. Meanwhile, the state vigilance department will also approach court seeking Sivasankar’s custody.
