Director Alphonse Puthren filed a complaint before the police cyber cell after scamster used his name to fool junior actresses. The phone calls were made to talk about new acting opportunities in films. Alphonse Puthren shared the news of the fraud through his Facebook handle.

In his Facebook post, Alphonse has said that a scamster is making phone calls to junior actresses and certain other women in two numbers using his name. He has also added those numbers in his Facebook post. He said that when he called to these numbers the person on the other end, introduced himself as Alphonse Puthren.
