South Indian actress Kasturi has criticized Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan who spoke in praise of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the state government. Kasturi questioned whether Kamal Haasan, who has repeatedly criticized the AIADMK government and the BJP government in Tamil Nadu and praised the policies of the Kerala government, had the same stance in the wake of the Kerala government's amendment of the Police Act 118A. Kasturi asked Kamal this question on Twitter before the Kerala government withdrew the amendment decision in view of the criticism leveled against it.
