THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister's Additional Private Secretary CM Raveendran will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate. He was served a notice to appear before the ED on Friday. Raveendran won't be able to report for questioning as he was hospitalized due to post-Covid health problems.

Raveendran was not discharged from the hospital due to shortness of breath and low oxygen level in his blood. On November 6, a questioning notice was issued to ED Raveendran. But the next day Raveendran was shifted to the hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19. He was released from the hospital recently following a negative test for the virus.

Following this, the ED issued another notice to appear on Friday. However, Raveendran was admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College MICU citing post Covid health problems.

Swapna Suresh, in her recorded statement, had said that apart from M Sivasankar, Raveendran had also called him from the CM's office. Subsequently, ED issued a notice to Raveendran to question the transactions in the IT department.
