THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI has expressed intense dissatisfaction at the raid in KSFE. The CPI’s mouthpiece said the raid was fuelling the anti-government sensational industry. The raid at the trusted public sector entity is shocking. The motive behind the raid is doubtful. The CPI opined that the vigilance treated the finance department like criminals after keeping them in the dark.
The CPI's response came amid growing dissatisfaction within the CPM itself over the raid. In the meanwhile, the CPM will discuss the raid controversy today. Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac and state secretariat member Ananthalavattom Anandan had taken a public stand against the raid. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has not yet clarified his position on the controversy.
