KOZHIKODE: Relatives of an adivasi who died after stung by bees’ alleged disrespect to the latter’s body in Wayanad. The locals and relatives are staging a protest as the post-mortem was not conducted even after two days of his death. The authorities of the Kozhikode Medical College told his relatives that there is no surgeon there.

Gopalan of Kenichira in Palnada Colony died on Sunday after stung by bees. The body was first taken to taluk hospital in Sulthan Bathery. As there was no surgeon there, the body was taken to Kozhikode Medical College. The post mortem was not conducted so far. The body is still kept in the hospital. ‘It is a body. It has started decomposing and will not take over it,’ his relatives said.
