THODUPUZHA: The remand tenure of former minister V K Ebrahim Kunju, arrested in the Palarivattom bridge corruption case, has been extended. The Moovattupuzha Vigilance Court extended his remand for two weeks. He will be in judicial custody till December 16.

The vigilance submitted the interrogation report in the court. The report has mentioned that the vigilance will file a plea for quizzing him again in the court. However the court has clarified that the plea cannot be considered in this stage.

The judge passed the order after talking with Kunju via video call. He will continue in the Lake Shore Hospital itself.
