THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Privileges and Ethics Committee will submit its report on the breach of privilege notice against Finance Minister Thomas Isaac before the assembly session, sources said. The committee, headed by CPM member A Pradeepkumar, is planning to meet continuously and take action on the opposition's notice immediately. The last session of the cabinet will be held either towards January end or at the beginning of February.
Since six of the nine-member committee belong to the ruling party, Isaac might not face any action. The committee will try to settle the issue by seeking and accepting the minister's apology.
