KOCHI: The Kerala High Court imposed an interim stay on the action of the state government banning Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC). The court acknowledged PWC’s claim that their version was not heard.

The case was considered by a bench led by Justice P V Asha. The government barred PWC from IT projects for two years citing lack of transparency in appointments and for hiring unqualified people. They were exempted from the charge of KFON. PWC approached the high court questioning it.

The government had appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as project management unit of Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited at Space Park. They were given the task of selecting the staff.
