THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Decision on vigilance probe against opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala in connection with bar bribery allegations with him will be taken on Monday. Vigilance director Sadeshkumar is on leave, a decision on the probe will be only taken after resumes on duty on Monday.

Speaker has earlier granted nod for probe against Ramesh Chennithala on the allegations raised by bar owner Biju Ramesh. The file seeking governor’s nod to initiate vigilance probe against former ministers V S Sivakumar and K Babu on bar bribery allegations is still pending in the governor’s office and he has also sought the justification from vigilance director on conducting probes against the former ministers. The vigilance director will also submit the justification on Monday.
