BENGALURU: The hearing on the bail plea of Bineesh Kodiyeri who was arrested on charges of black money laundering, will be held in Bengaluru city sessions court. Even though Bineesh’s hearing was completed, ED has sought more time from the court to present their contentions against Bineesh’s bail.

Sources say that solicitor general will appear for ED, via video conferencing. Bineesh’s lawyer on Friday has told the court that individual liberty should be protected, therefore bail should be given to Bineesh Kodiyeri.

The defence lawyers said that testimony of all witnesses in the case was recorded and the contention that Bineesh will the country won’t stand as ED itself has found that Bineesh has assets and properties in Kerala itself. His remand term will end on Tuesday.
