KOCHI: Chalakudy MP Benny Behnan tested positive for covid 19. Following the confirmation of the pandemic, his programmes charted out for the next two weeks stands cancelled. He appeared for Covid 19 tests after he showed symptoms of the disease. The Congress MP through his Facebook post asked those who came in contact with him to exercise caution.

His Facebook post is as follows:

The covid 19 tests which were conducted on me, as I showed symptoms of the pandemic, is positive. Therefore I am urging to all those who came in contact with me in the past two weeks to exercise necessary caution.
