THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM has opposed the centre’s decision to name the second campus of Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Center after RSS ideologue M S Golwalker. CPM Polit Bureau member M A Baby has said that centre’s decision deserves nothing other than condemn and the decision is heinous in nature.
The present decision is intended to communally divide the Kerala society just for garnering more votes. The democratic society of Kerala should oppose this decision in a united manner. “This man who gave leadership to transmit the poison of communal hatredness, is the chief of RSS when Gandhi was assassinated by his RSS-colleagues. Golewalkar was the chief of RSS when India witnessed the largest communal tensions during the period between 1940-70.
