THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The verbal spat between CPM and BJP over naming the new campus of RGCB after RSS ideologue M S Golwalkar goes on. BJP says that there is nothing wrong over giving Golwalkar’s name to RGCB’s new campus.

BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan said that the issue should not be considered as a controversy. He added that names of great men were given to various institutions before also. Meanwhile, CPM has lashed out at the centre over the controversial decision.

CPM state secretary A Vijayaraghavan has said that nobody should forget the fact that Kerala is the land of Sree Narayana Guru and renaissance. He also added that all kinds of communalism should be opposed. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has on Saturday sent a letter to centre asking them to reconsider the decision.
