Chennithala also criticized Union Minister V Muraleedharan for his controversial remarks in renaming Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology (RGCB). V Muraleedharan has no sense of history. He should talk after understating things. He should understand after asking anyone who knows how Nehru Trophy boat race got its name. RGCB will not be allowed to name after Golwalkar for any reason. This is an attempt to insult Rajiv Gandhi, he said.

Golwalkar has no connection with biotechnology. He has not made any contribution for the progress of either Kerala or India. The people of Kerala should unite and protest against this, he said.
