KOCHI: The Kerala High Court postponed to December 11 considering the bail plea of former minister Ebrahim Kunju in the Palarivattom bridge corruption case. The court directed the government to file an affidavit on his plea.

His plea said that he has been indicted in the case for political reasons and arresting him nine months after the charge sheet filed is mysterious.

Kunju was arrested on November 18 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ernakulam. He is the fifth accused in the case. The vigilance had earlier reached the hospital and questioned him with the permission of the court.
