THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The chief minister and his office misused official machinery to lead smuggling, said BJP state chief K Surendran. The chief minister has morally no right to continue in power even for a moment. There are more to be revealed than heard. Kerala will be shocked hearing the stories revealed, he said.

The chief minister, his office, ministers, former principal secretary and additional secretaries are in the list of accused. The latest information is that some people constitutionally responsible for protecting our country have directly helped the smuggling team.

When these incidents come to light, the administration is trying to divert the news. The chief minister, CPM secretary and the CPM central leadership have maintained silence on the matter. He said they were trying to divert public attention in the elections by stirring up communalism and creating communal feeling.

K Surendran said it is better to reveal the name of the VIP involved in the gold smuggling. Surendran said that all names in our country are synonymous with God. The VIP is not from the cabinet and four or five VIPs have helped the smuggling team, he said.
