THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 3272 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 2859 persons developed the disease through contact including 328 cases without an identified source of infection. 49 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 36 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 4705 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 59,467 active cases in the state.
The state recorded 23 COVID deaths on Monday with the toll rising to 2441.

In the last 24 hours, 33,758 samples have been tested. The test positivity rate stands at 9.69.
