VYTTILA: Kerala Kaumudi Vyttila agent PK Sukumaran was killed in a road accident on Monday. The accident took place near the Thaikoodam metro station at around 11.30 am. Sukumaran, who was travelling on his bicycle, was run over by a private bus that was coming from the same direction. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, he soon succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the bus driver fled immediately after the incident. Police have registered a case and the driver's arrest will be recorded soon. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at Thripunithura municipal crematorium.
