KOLLAM: The LDF will accomplish a major victory in the local body polls, said Mukesh MLA. The people of Kerala have absorbed realities. They have understood things and so will attain a major win, he said. Controversies to create smokescreen will not affect people, he said while talking to the media after casting his vote.

He said, ‘History will repeat in Kollam. The LDF will get a major victory in the polls. The message will come that Kerala is a literate Kerala. No matter what lies and smokescreens are created, the people will realise misstates and vote. The UDF and the BJP have asserted that they will capture Thiruvananthapuram.’

None of the allegations have affected the state government. Everyone has understood the gold smuggling. That is the difference between northern Indian states and Kerala, Mukesh said.
