THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 5032 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 4380 persons developed the disease through contact including 517 cases without an identified source of infection. 98 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 37 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 4735 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 59,732 active cases in the state.
The state recorded 31 COVID deaths on Tuesday with the toll rising to 2472.
