THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 4470 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 3858 persons developed the disease through contact including 498 cases without an identified source of infection. 77 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 37 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 4847 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 59,517 active cases in the state.
The state confirmed 26 COVID deaths on Thursday with the toll rising to 2533.
