KANNUR: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that under the garb of the gold smuggling case, central probe agencies are hatching a plot to sabotage the state government and he will write the prime minister to inform about the same. He also lashed out at ED for the case against his addl. private secretary CM Raveendran and added that the agency cannot take any action against Raveendran on the basis of evidence.

“Some people are even airing the secret testimony given to the magistrate in press meets. After seeing all this, the govt thought should these agencies be regulated. Probe agencies shouldn’t put in efforts to secure votes for BJP. they are wrong if they think that this government can be destroyed using their investigations. Communists have faced and went through grave physical and mental assaults. The chief minister also added that nobody could destabilise the government with any black acts,” he said.

The chief also said that a faction which broke away from CPM in Onchiyam is making several baseless allegations against the party. The allegation against Raveendran is also such a kind. They will continue to say that the hotels and other institutions there belongs to him. But just by saying the ownership of those institutions won’t fall on him. BJP says the cases are being taken against the corrupt. But when it comes to their party, there will be no cases against the corrupt. Their pursuit to sabotage an effective government will only end in vain.

A letter was written to chief minister expecting that he will responsibly intervene over the issue. Prime Minister is a constitutional post. It is the Prime Minister’s responsibility to regulate such illegal moves. Therefore, I would like him to consider the bad ordeal that Kerala is going through and hopes that he will immediately take action against the probe agencies.

Left front will gain victory in polls

The chief minister said that left front will make great advances in the poll battle surpassing all malicious conspiracies and allegations against it. This government has undertaken several pro-people programmes. Many development projects which were halted or were expected will never come true, was successfully implemented by this government. We were able to fulfil projects like GAIL pipeline project. Kochi Edaman project, Kochi-Coimbatore industrial corridor project. Built homes for lakhs of homeless people. This government is with the common people. People will eventually vote for this government, not for those who obstructed the life mission programme.
