MALAPPURAM: A clash broke out between the activists of the LDF and the UDF at Perumpadappu Kodathoor in Malappuram. A dispute over open votes led to the clash. UDF candidate Suhra Ahamed sustained injuries in the attack. Following that, the police resorted to lathicharge.
