THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The number of pilgrims for darshan at Sabarimala temple will not be increased during this Mandala season. The committee, chaired by the chief secretary, decided to continue with the current arrangement. As part of the COVID restrictions, 2,000 pilgrims can visit the temple on normal days and 3,000 on Saturdays and Sundays. COVID testing has been increased at Sabarimala after 36 people tested positive for the virus at Sannidhanam the other day.
