THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government's Rebuild Kerala Initiative is all set to receive the second phase assistance from the World Bank and the German bank KFWU. This is in view of the performance of Rebuild Kerala in development activities.
In the second phase, the World Bank will provide assistance for a period of five years. This assistance can be utilized for the development projects of Rebuild Kerala as well as the COVID activities of the State Health Mission. The loan agreement with the World Bank is likely to be signed in April 2021. The German bank will assist in water supply, sanitation, climate-related urban development, and disaster insurance and financing.
